INTERVIEW: WFP Executive Calls for Boost in Agricultural Investments to Strengthen South Sudan's Food Security

The World Food Programme’s Assistant Executive Director for Partnerships and Advocacy, has called on South Sudanese to increase investments in agricultural productivity. Rania Dagash-Kamara made the remarks after leading a high-level humanitarian delegation to crisis-affected areas in the country. Kamara acknowledges the potential South Sudan has, not only for smallholder farmers but also for large scale mechanised farming.
