Says Rui Farias: "Welcome to Historically St Pete, a weekly conversation where we explore the truths, and sometimes the myths of the people and events that created the Sunshine City. The Museum of History has been sharing the stories of the Sunshine City for 103 years and we are happy to share those stories with you here on Radio St. Pete.  In the 1920s the City of St. Petersburg had the greatest number of churches, or places of worship, per capita than nearly any city in American. When we drive around the community in your daily life, think about all the places of worship you pass, and I’m sure sometimes wonder, what the services or celebrations are like. Well now, thanks to a group of USF-St. Pete students, and a new exhibit at Heritage Village, you’ll have the opportunity to experience those celebrations."
