Author Terry Pratchett and science fiction writer Stephen Baxter discuss their recent collaboration on The Long Earth with Front Row’s Mark Lawson. The story, which centres around alternate earths accessed via a portal powered by electricity from a potato, was created with both hissy fits and flights of inspiration.
