Various shops play different music to attract customers, creating a patchwork of sounds that defines the urban soundscape. From loudspeakers, I heard pre-recorded voices, likely sales pitches intended to lure passersby into making a purchase. Some shop assistants amplified their own voices with megaphones, adding to the cacophony.
Amidst this, snippets of cheerful conversations between people could be discerned, punctuated by the occasional long yawn, a clue that someone must have been really tired.
