The Great Nondual Bypass

Scott began using the term the Great Non-Bypass when he first began introducing emotional repression inquiry to people to denote how widespread spiritual bypassing really is in eastern practices and teachings. That phrase takes note of how systematically avoidant these teachings and practices can be, sometimes not even mentioning or pointing to or helping people process buried emotions even though science has shown that buried emotions are the root of most of our suffering. Now that Scott has co-authored the book *Awake but Sick: The Myth of Immediate Freedom and the Dangers of Spiritual Seeking and Finding* with Toshi Matsunaga, Scott is ready to teach in a different way, which includes awareness as the ground of our experience, along with the processing of buried emotions for genuine transformation.
