If you are fed up with people phoning to try to sell you things, signing up to the Telephone Preference Service is supposed to prevent UK companies bombarding you with unwanted calls.

But tonight's "Panorama" programme has found that some companies have been completely ignoring the rules on who call centres can ring and where they can get their phone numbers from.

But what's it like to have a job where you have to MAKE those irritating phone calls? Here are a few people who've had the experience.
