Host Nanette Wiser spoke with the GOAT of St. Pete Arts, Duncan McClellan about his gallery downtown, featured artists and his non-profit DMG School Project's mobile unit that will be demonstrating glass blowing this weekend at Mainsail Art Festival. DMG provides educational opportunities to both artists and community while contributing to the development of glass as a creative medium in both St. Petersburg and the international glass community. The DMG School Project involves the public in all aspects of glass through master classes, demonstrations, lectures, and public service endeavors. 50th Annual Mainsail Art Festival 4/5-6 is one of the premier cultural events on St. Petersburg’s outdoor calendar. Mainsail is a juried fine arts festival held annually in Vinoy Park, along the downtown St. Petersburg waterfront. Mainsail was created to showcase our artists. 250+ Juried Fine Arts and Crafts Exhibitors Competing for $60,000 in Prize Money with a $10k Best of Show.
