Today’s discussion revolves around The Soldier’s Tale by Stravinsky, and how musicians and dancers think of counting musical time. His guests are a power couple: cellist and dancer!
In addition to her many roles as a dance educator and choreographer, Madison Pineda Bender is an avid freelance performer who has worked with renowned dance companies such as Groundworks Dance Theater. David Bender joined The Florida Orchestra in 2023 after graduating from The Juilliard School. An enthusiastic chamber musician, he performs in Candlelight Concerts as well as a variety of other chamber and solo engagements.
