Domenico Pontoriero interviews Coley about his film Jebus, which is playing at the Sunscreen Film Festival. Coley shares his unique journey of making the satirical film, where he plays a beach bum Jesus sent to teach America how to love again. Written during his recovery from a severe Covid infection, the film features a diverse cast from Gulfport, FL, and incorporates Coley's background in music. They discuss the film's themes, its comedic and political elements, and its intention to encourage dialogue and understanding. The film screens on Friday, April 25th at 11AM at the AMC Sundial in St. Petersburg, FL.

ABOUT COLEY:
While not famous yet, Coley is infamous.
His first hip hop feature was from Bun B, he threw Allen Iverson’s Retirement Party in Philly and performed at it with Bun B, he’s opened for Nelly, Wale, Jermaine Dupri, MTV Fashion Week, Bone Thugs & Harmony.

Coley walks the talk with sociopolitical lyrics, biting satire and fearless shots of truth at power.

His newest single, World is Burning, is part of a six month waterfall release of singles from the soundtrack of JEBUS - a feature-length comedy about a beach bum Jesus returning to teach America how to love each other again. Coley, wrote, directed, executive produced, scored the soundtrack (his 15th music album!), and starred playing 5 roles including playing Jebus. If that sounds insane, it is, perfectly.
