On today's episode of Moneyline, Donnie RightSide recaps the first round of the NFL Draft. The Tennessee Titans selected Cam Ward with the number 1 pick, who they hope can be the future and turn their franchise around. In a surprising move, the Jaguars traded up from the fifth pick up to number 2 to select the Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter. The Browns moved back to pick 5 and received a haul for the number 2 overall pick, and the Jaguars got a guy who many presume will be taking snaps on both sides of the ball and be a special talent. Abdul Carter went to the New York Giants at 3, who continue to beef up their front 4 and get back to the teams of the past that won Super Bowls with dominant defensive lines. The headline of the night is that Shedeur Sanders, son of legendary cornerback Deion Sanders, was not selected in the first round. Him and Cam Ward were both talked about as the potential number 1 pick just a few months ago, and he now fell all the way out of the first round, with another quarterback being taken before him when the Giants traded back into the first round to select Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart. The Cleveland Browns hold the first pick of the second round, and are in need of a quarterback. Will they take a swing at the son of the legendary Deion Sanders, or will Shadeur continue to fall? Later, Donnie breaks down today's full slate of MLB Games, starting with the Philadelphia Phillies taking on the Cubs in Chicago. Listen in as he breaks down his favorite plays of the day and which sides he will be on for the full card of MLB games. Plus, the NBA Playoffs continue tonight as the defending champion Celtics head into Orlando for game 3 without Jayson Tatum. The Bucks also retake home court as the Pacers go into Milwaukee with a 2-0 lead. The night cap features the exciting Lakers and Timberwolves series with the Lakers heading to Minnesota. Catch all this action & more on today's edition of Moneyline.
