Lavender Doe Gets Her Name Back

On October 29, 2006, two men discovered the burning body of a young women in the woods near Kilgore, TX. She was wearing a lavender shirt, leading the investigators to refer to her as "Lavender Doe." Despite efforts, authorities were unable to identify her, and the case went cold. Until Joseph Wayne Burnette is arrested in connection with another murder.
