Host Karen Carmichael sits down with Janelle Sadler, a seasoned vocalist and guitarist who has returned to the Tampa Bay area after a successful more than two-decade-long career in Los Angeles. Sadler shares her experiences touring with renowned artists like Natalie Cole and Donny Osmond, performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and navigating life as a professional musician. She recounts her first professional tour with the heavy metal band Crimson Glory in the 1980s, memorable performances around the world, and the challenges and growth it brought. Upon returning to St. Pete, Sadler reflects on her musical backstory, starting with local gigs and progressing to major international stages. She also discusses adjusting back to local life, reconnecting with family, and the diverse dynamics of the St. Pete community.

Janelle began performing in St. Petersburg beach coffee shops and clubs in her teens and worked her way up in the Florida music scene. After  winning the locally coveted award of "Best Female Vocalist Tampa Bay," a surprise chance to tour singing backups for Donny Osmond encouraged her to move to Los Angeles. In this interview, Sadler reflects on her journey from local gigs to international stages, sharing insights into the challenges and rewards of a career in music. She also discusses her return to St. Pete, reconnecting with family, and the evolving music scene in the Tampa Bay area.
