In this episode, my son, Alex, learns about two of his eight great grandparents – his father’s mother’s parents – who came to Michigan from the Netherlands in the early 1900s. This is part 2 of Alex’s 8 Greats. In part 1, he learned about his father’s father’s parents, who immigrated to Michigan from Belgium. Upcoming part 3 will cover his maternal great grandparents.
