Imagine that in doing so, you become the first Aboriginal act to record a full-length album in the studios’ hallowed rooms.
That is exactly the journey of Selve, a Queensland outfit, fronted my Loki Liddle.
A proud Jabirr Jabirr man, Loki describes how the new single that shares the title of their upcoming second album - Breaking Into Heaven - is a beacon for First Nation Stories.
In recording at Abbey Road, Selve have opened up a space previously only accessible to a select few and have opened up a future of possibility.
