The old Jewish cemetery near Heinsheim, Bad Rappenau, Germany. This cemetery was established in the 16th century and is one of the largest and best preserved Jewish cemeteries in south-west Germany.
The photo shows the view over the eastern enclosure wall to the first row of gravestones, which date from the late 18th/early 19th century. The photo was taken on an autumn evening shortly before sunset, hence the saturated, but somewhat subdued colours.
