Dr Tom Black is worried the new 111 number - an alternative to 999- could increase pressure on A & E.

The new number is intended as an alternative to the 999 number for people who require urgent medical help but whose lives are not at risk.The Doctors union says it could lead to more people going to A and E and increase pressure on already overstretched paramedics.
