I received another phone call, again, from her phone number, and after a moment of hesitation answered it. The lights flickered several times, two quick times and then a longer slower one. After a moment of static, the video feed fixed itself. It was me. My hair still wet, eyes strained riddled with tears of panic and frustration. All except the lips moved without command.
