Joe Bourdow & Dan Hirshberg Talk About His New Book "Baseball in Pinellas County"

Baseball fans Joe Bourdow and Dan Hirshberg,  author of "Baseball in Pinellas County" could have chatted all day about baseball legends, stadiums and history. Hirshberg is an award-winning writer, publicist and columnist who writes feature stories about the baseball people of Pinellas County, Florida, for the Tampa Bay Weekly News Group. He previously authored a biography of Phil Rizzuto (Phil Rizzuto: A Yankee Tradition). For a younger audience, he’s written books about John Elway, Lawrence Taylor, Emmitt Smith and Tim Hardaway. Hirshberg is also the former sports editor of a New Jersey newspaper and has written articles for Baseball Digest and other national publications. He has been recognized by the Florida Press Association and other industry organizations for both his writing and public relations work. Dan has the distinction of attending major league baseball games in every current major league city (as well as Montreal, Dunedin and now Tampa, and London, too), and has attended regular season games in a total of 43 stadiums.
