This week on the Daly Dose, we are joined by entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a walking testament to the power of transforming one’s life: Dr. Glenn Toby!
From experiencing homelessness as a child on the streets of Brooklyn to becoming a music industry pioneer, and a wealth manager for a number of stars including LL Cool J, Olympian Samyr Laine, actors Lance Reddick and Jason Weaver, NFL stars Asante Samuel, Antonio Freeman, and Josh Evans, and World Champion Boxer O'Neil "Supernova" Bell!
We discuss his early education, how living in poverty can shape a young person and the incredible amount of hip hop talent that was coming out of New York in the early 1980’s!
Dr. Toby shares his methods for working with some of the biggest stars in music, sports and entertainment and some of the many lessons that he learned along the way!
We also talk about Dr. Toby’s passion project that is called the Book Bank Foundation which is making a positive impact by providing homeless children and their families with resources for combating illiteracy!
