ABOUT THE PODCAST & EXHIBIT
On July 12, Wild Space Gallery debuted Blazing the Trail: From Strand to Slough, a behind the scenes view of the epic trek through the western edge of the Florida Wildlife Corridor in southwest Florida, from the eyes of the Corridor Foundation team, who planned, managed and participated in the expedition. Through photographs, ephemera, stories and videos, Blazing the Trail invites you to vicariously follow in the footsteps of the crew and join in the exploration, discovery, and conservation of at-risk lands and waters in wild Florida.  The evening featured a live recording of Wild Takes: Florida Uncut Podcast, with host, producer and creator Mason Gravley. Gravley was in conversation with the artists as they share powerful, intimate experiences, and stories from the field followed by audience Q&A. Whether you’re passionate about conservation, curious about the Corridor, or just love art and Florida, this night promises connection, insight, and inspiration.
This exhibition is made possible through the support of the Ruth and J O Stone Foundation along with generous sponsorship from Bradley S. and Marta E. Pollitt and Family.
