Dr. Jarrod was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in TN. He graduated from Morehouse College and Duke University School of Medicine and has practiced as a vascular surgeon since 2011. Recently, he started a minimally invasive vein treatment center in Cary, NC.
After being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, he started his journey into health advocacy, promoting disease prevention and even treatment through what he calls “the miracle of movement.”
An avid runner, he also spends his free time with his wife, Dr. Tomeka, and his 3 children in Raleigh, NC.
