As we approach the second run of episodes for Matt Smith's Doctor under Steven Moffat's second season of stewardship of Doctor Who, James McLean and Christian Cawley discuss the various second series of every Doctor (save the two who didn't enjoy a second run of episodes), from William Hartnell through to David Tennant.
What did we find? Well there's a large improvement in the second runs, it is fair to say, and a lot of strong episodes. But as to whether it stands up as a rule in Doctor Who that the star's second year in the show is better than the first, you'll have to listen to find out...
Incidentally, a big thank you to everyone who has tuned into our new regular podKasts so far. If there is anything we can give a mention to, anyone you want us to say hello to or even if you just want to get in touch please leave a message below, and please share this with as many people as you think would be interested in having a listen!
