Join us in this exciting interview as VIE Book Club host / VIE magazine editor, Jordan Staggs, chats with Chef Chris Infinger of Panama City, Florida.
Chris, although his résumé might say chef, is a storyteller at heart. He weaves stories about food and tells tales through food. Growing up, Chris always knew he wanted to serve and take care of people. Cooking was an early passion of his, and he soon realized the hospitality industry offered numerous opportunities for creativity and fulfillment by taking care of others and crafting a narrative with each meal. He now hosts "Doing Dinner with Chef Chris" on National Public Radio. Each week, he plans a dinner party live on the air and then executes it later. If that wasn’t enough to fill his plate, Chris is a professor at Gulf Coast State College in the Culinary department. He aims to make an impact and improve his area through his students. Chris is also a big advocate for supporting your local farmers and fishermen, and even gives us the lowdown on which fruits and vegetables we should be eating each season! Bon appétit!
