Jason from Georgia shares a chilling encounter that pushed him beyond fear and into survival mode. Home alone, fresh out of the shower, he heard the unmistakable sound of his front door opening. His family wasn’t supposed to be there—and fugitives were on the loose in his area. Grabbing his gun, Jason went to investigate.
What he saw wasn’t human.
A woman stood in his dining room, her filthy dress clinging to her skeletal frame, long black hair hanging like a curtain over her face. One hand bore fingernails two feet long. She wheezed as if every breath was her last, echoing the labored sounds Jason had feared in the dark since childhood.
Panicked, he ran to his room, arming himself with a blade. She followed, scratching at the walls, her presence unbearable. Just as Jason braced for the worst, something unbelievable happened: a massive hand, missing half a ring finger, appeared out of mist—his late father’s hand. It slammed the creature’s head into the wall before vanishing with her.
That night, Jason realized his father had kept his promise: to protect him, even after death.
