This began a recognized film career that has spanned over 35 movies to date.  Recently, she returned to movies, starring with Paul Sorvino and Joe Mantegna in the forthcoming period drama The Bronx Bull (2016), playing the wife of legendary boxer Jake LaMotta. Natasha is the youngest actress to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Temecula Film Festival, and recently was honored with the Queen Elizabeth II Award from her homeland of Canada. @natashahenstridge IG

Meet The Podcasters Jill & Leah Leah Mangum is so excited to be doing Empty Nesters with her bestie Jill Whelan. They have decorated school gyms together and have been Cub Scout Den Mom’s together. It’s been so much fun navigating the road ahead with laughter and insight. This isn’t their first time working together. They have produced, written and starred in the TV movie Take it From Top. Leah is seasoned actress, casting director, producer, and writer hailing from the south side of Chicago. Her passion for the performing arts lead her to attend Loyola University and honed her craft on the stages of Equity Theaters all over Chicago. Her dedication to the arts also led her on a North American tour with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, featuring Donny Osmond. Mangum sold a show to Yippee TV (The Fun Show) which will be
available premiering in 2024. She is also known for her film Still Here which she had the pleasure to act in and produce with her lovely and talented friend Chuck Saculla. With a passion for storytelling, her and her husband Jonathan Mangum have produced the TV movie Doing it Yourself and the movie Manband. Married to Jonathan Mangum, Leah is also the mother of two sons, Austin and Chase who are also in the performing arts.
