Friends and Politics
I used to avoid talking about politics with friends
Mainly because I stayed out of it altogether and I didn’t really have a foundation of opinions
That changed about 10 years ago, when for good and for bad, I woke the fuck up and opened my eyes
Part of that awakening was realizing which friends and family have viewpoints that didn’t only align with mine, but were a danger to my future
And then I started to clean house
Not everyone can have access to me
