SCAVENGER HUNT   Teams of 2–10 players will fundraise throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month, leading up to the Scavenger Hunt on October 25.   The Scavenger Hunt focuses on raising awareness for domestic violence, fundraising for CASA’s critical programs, and supporting small businesses/the local community. The hunt kicks off at 12pm at Welcome to the Farm and concludes at 3pm with a private after party at Good Night John Boy, featuring a live DJ, a complimentary beverage, and lunch from Gateway Subs.   During the hunt, participants complete challenges through downtown St. Pete like recording a teammate's best joke at Spitfire Comedy or taking a group picture “fishing” in front of The Lure.  Prizes are awarded for top fundraising teams, top scoring teams, and best team costumes.   Tickets are $35 per person; go here.
👉Each year CASA partners with a local artist to create an exclusive design for the event t-shirts and canvas tote bags. This year’s artist is Cristi Lopez, who recently completed a new mural on the pier. Previous artists include Chad  Mize and Jujmo.  👉Last year’s scavenger hunt raised over $100,000 to support survivors and shed light on this often-hidden crisis. This year, CASA Pinellas aims to surpass that amount to continue providing essential programs and services to those in need in Pinellas County.
DONATION MATCH DAYS  All donations made on the Scavenger Hunt website will be matched on October 1 and October 20.  Teams can double their fundraising totals and maximize their impact for CASA’s critical programs.  Anyone can donate through the website even if they aren’t participating in the event. Match sponsors include Sue and Jim Petru, the Hajek Family Foundation, Raymond James, The Rays Rowdies Foundation, Seacoast Bank, Showtech Solutions, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

CASA x KAHWA COFFEE OCTOBER PARTNERSHIP CASA is partnering with Kahwa Coffee this October for an even bigger impact.   Kahwa is hosting a raffle for the month of October: each donation to CASA is an entry to win free coffee for a year. Players can donate to Kahwa’s Scavenger Hunt team through OneCause.  Plus, one day in October, a portion of all Kahwa sales will be donated to CASA across all cafes in Pinellas County. [DATE TBD]
