Known as the Face-to-Face Apostle, David has claimed to speak to Jesus in person while his ministry amassed a following that gave him over $50 million. But, on August 27th, 2025, he and his director, Michelle Brannon, were arrested on charges of money laundering, forced labor, and allegations of human trafficking. For over ten years, David operated an abusive scheme using unpaid call-center workers to scam thousands of people in exchange for miracles.
