An elemental is a mythic supernatural being that is described in occult and alchemical works from around the time of the European Renaissance, and particularly elaborated in the 16th century works of Paracelsus. According to Paracelsus and his subsequent followers, there are four categories of elementals, which are gnomes, undines, sylphs, and salamanders. These correspond to the four elements of antiquity: earth, water, air, and fire, respectively.

Take a journey with Joel as he explores the land of mermaids, gnomes, forest people and reptilians and what the ancient alchemist, Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, had to say about them and their place within the world. He breaks down the four kinds of elementals, what they look like, where they live, and what they wear, with Paracelsus attributing them as being "like man". Finally, Joel looks at marriage between elementals and humans and the idea that the soul can be added to a being that doesn't originally have one.
