So if you were listening last week, you probably heard that the Talmud, the Jewish book of laws, is required reading for all South Korean schoolchildren because their parents think it will help them win Nobel prizes. Well, Korea is not the only country here in Asia that believes in the power of the Talmud. In China, the Talmud is considered the primo text for anyone wishing to succeed in business. And increased interest in business has led to a Talmudic publishing boom that includes titles like Crack the Talmud: 101 Jewish Business Rules and The Illustrated Jewish Wisdom Book. There’s even a Talmud hotel in Taiwan which places a copy of the Talmud Business Success Bible in every room. Move over, Gideon. The Talmud: Number one with a bullet since about 3000 BCE. #ceas #china #hacker
