After the catastrophic bombing at Pearl Harbor, Japanese Americans were forced out of their homes and transferred to Relocation Centers scattered throughout the United States, one of those places was Heart Mountain Relocation Center in Wyoming. The ones fortunate enough to survive would stay here until the war was over.
