DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 37
This verse reveals a beautiful promise tied to a deep truth: when we truly delight in the Lord—finding joy in who He is and aligning our hearts with His—our desires begin to reflect His will. It’s not about using God to get what we want, but allowing Him to shape what we want as we delight in Him.
When our hearts are tuned to His, He plants desires in us that are good, fulfilling, and in step with His purpose. True satisfaction is found not in getting everything we crave, but in loving the Giver more than the gifts.
Take a moment tonight to examine what your heart delights in. Breathe out selfish longing, and breathe in joyful surrender. Ask God to shape your desires to match His heart.

ADORATION: Praise God for being your greatest joy and treasure. Worship Him not just for what He gives, but for who He is.
CONFESSION: Reflect on desires that may not align with God’s will. Confess any ways you’ve placed your happiness in things over Him.
