Jane Neumann was found brutally killed in her basement, and within hours, her husband was burning her alleged suicide note, breaking down the door, telling stories of secret organizations, and dumping a potential murder weapon into the St. Croix River.
He told investigators, “I made a conscious effort to change the scene,” then walked free while the evidence screamed otherwise. But the records, the interviews, and the stains left behind tell a story of manipulation, fear, and murder disguised as mercy.
For decades, James (Jim) Neumann hid behind the story of a suicide, spinning lies as the trail of truth went cold. He would run from state to state, never staying in any place long enough to be caught and brought to trial again, for fear this time they'd put him away for good.
Now, for the first time I tell my story of how everything went down, from the moment of my mother's death to the present day.
