Spotlight Tampa Bay: Can We Still Talk? Finding Empathy During Divided Times.
Presented by Tampa Bay Times, in partnership with Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg
In an era when many feel isolated and emotionally overwhelmed, how can we listen and connect? Tampa Bay Times columnist Stephanie Hayes and a panel of experts on empathy, ethics, civil discourse and media literacy discussed how to hold space for different perspectives and engage in hard conversations at Spotlight Tampa Bay November 6th.  The goal? To leave with strategies for having more meaningful dialogue, turning empathy to action and digging out instead of digging in.
