They called him “the evil orphan.”
A boy rescued from a Ukrainian orphanage, brought to America by a loving couple who wanted to give him a second chance — and now accused of killing them both in cold blood.
This is the story of Dima Tower, the 21-year-old Florida man facing life in prison for the brutal murders of his adoptive parents, Jennifer and Robbie Tower. Police say they found the couple lying head-to-head, face-down, on the floor of their North Port home, surrounded by blood. Tower was allegedly seen covered in it, loading items into his car before fleeing the scene.
After a high-speed chase down I-75 and a manhunt through nearby woods, Tower was captured at a gas station the next morning — still wearing the same blood-stained clothes. Now, prosecutors have charged him with two counts of first-degree murder, rejecting a manslaughter plea that would have sent him away for 40 years.
In this episode of Hidden Killers with Tony Brueski, we dig into the horror behind the headlines — the years of police calls, the reports of fear inside the home, and the haunting question of whether this was pure evil… or a tragedy rooted in deep psychological damage.
Was Dima Tower the product of a brutal past that never healed — or proof that some people can’t be saved, no matter how much love they’re given?
