The Haunted Crone of the Catskills: The Terrifying True Story Behind the Viral Legend

Found near a dark cave deep in the Catskills, a wooden effigy of a woman with nails in her eyes and a noose around her neck would soon terrorize the man who took the cursed object home. Wet, muddy footprints, banging noises, odd smells, and shadowy old women infested the man's home. Desperate to rid himself of the cursed effigy, the crone ended up in the hands of two paranormal investigators, Greg and Dana Newkirk.
