In this episode of Art & Inspiration, Brenda McMahon talks about local Artist Studio Tours.  She speaks about ArtJones Studio Tour and Tampa Tour de Clay, both held in December. Guests Glenn Woods and Keith Herbrand run Pottery Boys Clay Studio in Palm Harbor. They are members of Tampa Tour De Clay - a collective of 11 potters who invite visiting ceramic artists to show and sell at their annual artist studio tour. In 2025, Tampa Tour de Clay will host 21 artists at 3 studios. The December 13 & 14th event is free to the public. ABOUT Brenda McMahon creates subtle polished vessels in her Gulfport studio using the saggar firing method. In this process, she uses natural materials, polished porcelain, and the random markings of fire upon earth to create one-of-a-kind vessels featured in collections across the country. Also at The Brenda McMahon Gallery is a feature artist as well as other artworks. The featured January artist is Dr. Cora Marshall, who often dreams her paintings and draws inspiration from the voices of those who have come before her.
