A five-day consultative dialogue has opened in Juba, bringing together the parties who signed the 2018 peace agreement, alongside key stakeholders such as RJMEC, the African Union, faith-based leaders and UNMISS Political Affairs.
This meeting comes at a time when implementation of the peace deal has slowed down. So how significant is this consultation? Can it address the real causes behind the delays and help revive the agreement?
To unpack these questions, we are joined by:
• Hon. Taban Luka, representing National Agenda, ITGONU
• Kevina Aber, from the South Sudan Women Mediators Network
• Michael Majure, SPLM Deputy Secretary for Political Affairs and Mobilization
