The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's podcast looking at University of Wisconsin athletics is back, with Badgers reporters John Steppe and Mark Stewart joining host JR Radcliffe to discuss a handful of UW sports topics. The football program just had an underwhelming signing day, with a top recruit flipping to West Virginia. Can the Badgers even use recruiting to recover what's been lost over the last few years? They discuss Luke Fickell, the program's woes and how to overcome them and who or what ultimately should be blamed for its sudden fall. They also talk basketball, including the men's team (which just defeated Northwestern in the Big Ten opener) and women's team (with a new coach ... and a new trajectory?). The women's volleyball team also heads into the NCAA Tournament this weekend.
