In this episode of MUSIC SCENE, host Nanette Wiser pays homage with guest and musician/singer Fiona Frensche to Brigitte Bardot, the film siren, singer and animal rights activist who died December 28, 2025. Brigitte Anne-Marie Bardot was a French actress, singer, model, and animal rights activist. A symbol of the sexual revolution, she became an international sex symbol in the 1950s and 60s. Bardot was known for her overt sexuality and roles associated with hedonism, breaking taboos against nudity in films like And God Created Woman. She retired from acting in 1973 to devote herself to animal rights, establishing the Foundation Brigitte Bardot in 1986. At the end of this episode, you can listen to Fiona's version of Harley Davidson, recorded and performed by Bardot so long ago.
