Elena Colteve from Dover Wins £1,000 in Week One of kmfm’s Pay Your Bills
The new year has got off to a winning start for Elena from Dover, who has been crowned the first winner of kmfm’s Pay Your Bills competition.
Kent’s radio station is giving listeners the chance to win their share of thousands of pounds across three weeks, helping to ease the financial pressure following the festive season.
The competition opened on Monday, with listeners given until 8:30am on Friday morning to answer the Week One Pay Your Bills question:
Which month traditionally has the highest household energy usage in the UK?
A) July
B) January
C) August
Elena correctly answered the question and was randomly selected as the Week One winner, taking home a £1,000 cash prize.
Speaking after the win, Elena said that she was recently in a car accident and plans to spend the money on paying off her bills after an expensive Christmas.
