The Nick Reiner case just got more complicated. TMZ's documentary revealed that sources say Nick admits to killing his parents Rob and Michele Reiner—but reportedly believes he's the victim of a conspiracy. He allegedly doesn't understand why he's incarcerated.

Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins the Reiner Channel to break down every new development and what it means for the investigation going forward.

Nick's medication for schizoaffective disorder was reportedly changed about a month before the December 14 murders because he complained about weight gain. Sources say the medication change "messed Nick up profoundly" and his meds still aren't stabilized in jail. He was diagnosed around 2020, and after that diagnosis, he reportedly stopped taking illegal drugs—his problem became prescription medication and treatment facilities that couldn't hold him long enough to address the underlying illness.

The murder weapon has not been found. LAPD says it's of "limited investigative value" given other evidence—but what does that actually mean? Coffindaffer explains what that statement suggests about Nick's alleged statements to authorities.

LAPD sealed the autopsy reports on Christmas Eve. Nick is no longer on suicide watch but remains in High Observation Housing. He checked into a Santa Monica hotel after the alleged killings. The prosecutor is Habib Balian, who handled Menendez and Durst. Legal experts predict no trial for at least two years.

The surviving siblings have reportedly indicated they don't want the death penalty. What happens next?

Full FBI analysis of the behavioral evidence, investigation timeline, and what to expect as this case unfolds.
