In this episode of JEWELS with JULES, Jules Warren talks with Great Explorations CAO, Laurel Ginn, and CEO Angeline Howell, diving into the thought process behind the museum's hands-on, interactive programs, special events, and a new science initiative in store for 2026.  For over 38 years, Great Explorations has been Tampa Bay's preeminent children's museum, supporting practical learning applications through a proven hands-on, interactive experience. Their mission is centered on stimulating learning through creativity, play, and exploration with real-life experiences, such as grocery shopping, going to the dentist, or becoming a veterinarian. As pioneers in the field, they are the nation's first inaugural children's museum to establish a licensed preschool. They take pride in fostering curiosity and delivering enrichment within a thoughtfully crafted, interactive learning setting.  Check out their events.
January 17 World Pizza Day  Kids can enter our Papa John’s Pizza Creation Contest for the chance to win free pizza for a whole year from the Papa John’s on 4th Street in St. Pete. They will also be serving free pizza while supplies last, so bring your appetite and your creativity.
