Honoring Jace Watkins & VMX 2026

On tonight’s edition of TMWS, I have two segments centered on care, leadership, and responsibility.

In the first segment, we are at Hueytown Intermediate School for the Buddy Bench dedication honoring fifth grader Jace Watkins. Joining me are Principal Cari McClellen and Jace’s fifth grade teacher, Elizabeth Williams. This conversation reflects what happens when educators lead with presence, compassion, and consistency.

In the second segment, we shift to VMX 2026, the world’s largest veterinary conference. My guests are Gene O’Neill and Dr. Dana Varble with the North American Veterinary Community. They share insight on preventive care, long term pet health, and why trusted veterinary teams matter for families from the start.
