When Real Housewives premiered the first season of their Salt Lake City installation, soon, the only cast member everyone was talking about was Mary Cosby. The outsized character rose to prominence as the leader of her grandmother’s church, Faith Temple Ministries, and sparked even more conversation when it was learned she didn’t just take her grandma’s church; she took her husband, too. However, Mary and her Step-Grandfather/husband, Robert Cosby, were soon under fire, following testimony from former church members that alleged spiritual, financial, and physical abuse by the church leaders. All of these conversations led to one question: Is Mary Cosby running a cult?
