Bradford Bulls star Waqa Blake put in a man-of-the-match display in the team's first Super League game since 2014.
Although they narrowly lost 27-20 to Hull FC, he believes the players can be proud of their efforts, especially the four making their Super League debuts.
The Fijian also paid tribute to the 2,000 Bradford supporters who turned out in big numbers for a special occasion.
