Molly McLaren’s life was very promising. As a college student with a keen interest in fitness and nutrition, she had amassed a following on social media through honest posts about her struggles with mental health and wellness, and for inspiring others to live life to the fullest. But after she met a man named Joshua Stimpson on Tinder, that same honesty and struggles with mental health were used against her as he stalked and harassed her on the internet and in real life. Only two weeks after they broke up, Josh stalked her to her gym and murdered Molly in broad daylight. This raises the question: how well do you know the people you meet online?
