Join Dan Hirshberg as he interviews renowned best-selling author Peter Golenbock in a lively conversation about baseball, his books, the St. Petersburg Pelicans, and the Tampa Bay Rays. Peter has written over 70 books and has interviewed hundreds of sports and show biz people. He's written books with Sparky Lyle, Billy Martin, Davey Johnson, Bobby Valentine, Jim Valvano and Tony Curtis, to name just a few. Peter came to St. Petersburg by way of a book project covering a year with the Senior Baseball League's Pelicans. The league didn't survive long, but Peter's love of St. Pete has endured. Like all of us, Peter is looking forward to the return of the Rays to The Trop!
