Brittany and Eddie’s 14-year-old daughter is still afraid of the dark and sleeps with a night light, and the two have very different options about how to deal with it. He wants to take their daughter’s night light out of her room and force her to sleep without it, curing her of her phobia. Brittany is urging patience, maybe one day she’ll get over her fear, but ripping out the night light is too extreme. She feels that they should be supporting her and not making her feel embarrassed about it. He says that’s one thing when you’re four years old, another when you’re a teenager and won’t go to sleepovers because of the fear. What would you do?
