Friday, March 20, 2026: Winning Awards; Fired Friday; Dakota's Book Report!

Ryan Coogler is having a hard time saying goodbye to awards season; he says he’s going to miss seeing his cast and crew. Coogler may have an Oscar, but Anna and Raven want to know about the awards you’ve won! 

Producer Jon is back for more WEEK IN NEWS! This week, he’s written a bluesy jingle reminiscent of Sinners to tell us about everything from the Oscars to March Madness and rising gas prices. 

Anna and Raven are back with more Text Madness! They’re building their bracket for the worst texting etiquette. 

It’s Fired Friday! Anna and Raven want to know the worst mistakes you’ve ever made at work and take a guess as to whether or not you were fired for them.  

Today is the day we’ve all been waiting for: Anna’s daughter Dakota shared her book report of Raven’s overdue library book, Holly by Stephen King. It wasn’t quite age appropriate, but Anna is determined to get Dakota to spend less time on her iPad and more time with books. 

Middle Schooler News returns! This week, middle schooler Victoria tells Anna and Raven a little bit about what’s going on in the world: Ancient handprints found in Indonesia, abandoned wild animals and Punch the monkey. 

It’s Mommy’s Margarita Friday! You deserve a reward. What did you do to earn your Mommy Margarita?      

Dawn and Andy are engaged. Andy works full time outside of the home, Dawn works part time and works from home. Andy doesn’t feel he has to do any house chores because he pays a majority of the home bills, he’s at work a lot, and he’s “just not good at it.” Dawn says that chores are a shared responsibility and that she’ll even reward him with favorite dinners if he helps. He says it shouldn’t be expected from him. What do you think?
